New to the city? Meet a local who knows it
A local shows you how the city really works: neighbourhoods, transport, where to shop and how things are done. Request a newcomer session with an ID-verified local on Timefolk, always in a public place.
What you can ask
Which areas suit you, how to get around, where locals shop and eat, how everyday paperwork usually goes and what to expect in your first months.
How it works
Choose a host in your new city, a public place and a time. The price is fixed before you pay, and you meet for a fixed length.
Why a local
Guides and search results tell you what exists. A local tells you what is worth it, from their own life in the city.
Questions
Is this a tour?
No. Timefolk is not a tour operator. It is a conversation with a local, in a public place, about settling in.
Can I meet more than once?
Yes. You can request the same host again whenever you like.
Is it safe to meet a stranger?
Every member is ID-verified, every session is in an approved public place, and both sides check in on arrival.
