Community Guidelines

How members post, meet and keep contact on Timefolk.

Version 2026-09-25.1, effective 2026-09-04.

Be yourself

One verified account per person. Only verified members post in circles, and everyone you meet has passed the same identity check.

Meet in public

Cafés, parks, museums and other public places. Never homes, hotel rooms or anywhere private.

Keep contact on Timefolk

No phone numbers, email addresses, links, social handles or messaging apps in profiles, posts or notes. To meet someone, book them: it keeps both of you covered.

Activities, not dating

No romance, flirting or paid companionship. Timefolk is about coffee, walks, languages, careers and the city.

No selling

No ads, promotions or money arrangements outside a booking. Payments go through Timefolk only.

Be kind

No harassment, hate, discrimination, or sexual or violent content, in words or pictures.

Respect privacy and boundaries

Do not share anyone's photos, details or location without their consent. A "no" is final.

Speak up

Report anything that feels wrong. A reported post is hidden while we look at it, and nobody is told who reported it.

When a rule is broken

Text that breaks these rules is refused before it posts. Repeated or serious breaks lead to a warning, then a suspension, then removal from Timefolk, as set out in the Community Standards.
